Features of feeding of layers

Laying hens are fed 2 times a day with dry full-feed. The daily feed intake rate is 120g, and water is 250 g per hen

During the year 44 kg of compound feed are consumed per hen. If succulent and green feeds are included, the daily feed rate of the feed increases to 170 g.

Formation of eggs in laying hens takes place at night, therefore evening feeding with compound feed is recommended, so that the main amount of calcium is used to form the shell.

Also in the ration of the laying hens, there must be a ground shell. Be careful with salt, bitter food is also not recommended.
